pasta broccoli and chicken
I want to make something with this today! I am a horrible cook if I don't have a recipe in front of me. Does anyone have any recipes? Thanks!

Re: pasta broccoli and chicken
I would keep it simple. Boil pasta. In a pan, heat up oil. Add chopped garlic and sautee. Add chicken cubes. Cook. Add broccoli.
When the pasta is done, add the chicken/broc mixture and toss. You might need to add some more oil.

I was going to say the same. Just make sure you season the chicken well first. Even if just with plain old salt and pepper.

Re: pasta broccoli and chicken
I might be late, but this si soo simple and soooooooo good!
Cut up as many chicken cutlets as you want into bite sizes (raw chicken).
Simmer in chicken broth until down--probably about 5-7 minutes.
Take out chicken with a slotted spoon and set aside.
Cook broccoli in that same chicken broth until soft and then take out with a slotted spoon.
Cook pasta in the same broth---if there is not enough for it, add some water. I usually use egg noodles for this. Drain pasta. Mix with broccoli and chicken.
In a separate pot, melt 1 stick of butter, 1 stick of margarine and about a 1/4 cup of olive oil. Add lots of chopped garlic (fresh or in oil).
Pour the sauce over the mixture, add salt and pepper and mix it all together. If it is not as hot as you want it, stick it in the microwave for a few minutes to make it hot.
sprinkle parmesan cheese on it and ENJOY!! :)
I ahve also done this with cauliflower when we had no broccoli in the house and it was also delicious!

Re: pasta broccoli and chicken
you could also heat up a can of diced tomatoes w/ some oil and garlic and throw it on top as a light sauce!

I also add sundried tomatos...yummy...
also if pasta seems a little too dry I take some of the pasta water and put it in the sauce...
