Re: Pasta Salad
I usually throw red peppers, broccoli, olives, tomatoes and L/F Italian dressing into my pasta and toss. Easy, healthy and good. Try it with the whole wheat pasta. Also, I throw the broccoli into the boiling water with the pasta for the last 3 mins or so to get it a little softer and tender.

Re: Pasta Salad
I mix pasta with chopped salami or proscuitto, smoked mozzarella, and sometimes some onion. DH doesn't eat vinegar or salad dressing, so I just dress with olive oil and lots of spices.

Re: Pasta Salad
i use this recipe
Greek pasta salad
1/2 cup olive oil 1/2 cup red wine vinegar or 1/4 red 1/4 balsamic 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 3/4 teaspoon white sugar 2 1/2 cups cooked elbow macaroni 3 cups fresh sliced mushrooms 15 cherry tomatoes, halved 1 cup sliced red/green/yellow bell peppers 3/4 cup crumbled feta cheese 1/2 cup chopped red onions 1 (4 ounce) can whole black olives 3/4 cup sliced pepperoni sausage, cut into strips
1.In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, garlic powder, basil, oregano, black pepper, and sugar. Add cooked pasta, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, feta cheese, onions, olives, and pepperoni. Toss until evenly coated. Cover, and chill overnight.
The longer it chills the better!!

Re: Pasta Salad
I just toss in black olives, halved cherry tomatoes and mozzerella cheese cut into tiny cubes. Toss together with the pasta and Italian dressing.

Re: Pasta Salad
I use the tri-color rotini. I mix it up with 8oz. Italian dressing, McCormick Simply Salad seasoning (not sure if that's the right name, but they make some sort of seasoning), pepperoni, tomato, and mozzarella.
