Bowties or tri color pasta soppresata or genoa salami provolone broccoli cherry tomatoes halved Newman's Italian dressing black olives
you can really add any other veggies like roasted peppers or articokes but this is how I made it last time it was a hit. Oh also you can do feta or another cheese

Re: Pasta Salad Recommendations
When making pasta salad with broccoli, do you steam the broccoli first then cool it and mix it in or is it raw?

I throw it in the pasta water for the last 2 minutes of the pasta cooking time. I don't like it raw, so it cooks it just a little bit!

Re: Pasta Salad Recommendations
My recipe is easy, and everyone loves it. Actually, it's my sister's recipe.
For a large party, I would use two boxes of tri-color rotini (or I use one box of rotini and one box of tri-color fiori), 2 bags of frozen broccoli, cauliflower & carrots, and 2/3 of a bottle of Ken's light Italian dressing.
Cook the pasta as you would normally. When straining, put the frozen veggies in the colander first so that they cook lightly with the pasta water.
Mix in Italian dressing and chill. Taste after it is chilled and add more dressing if necessary.

Re: Pasta Salad Recommendations
- 1 box of thin linguine, spaghetti type pasta - 1 pound of chopped up grilled chicken - 2/3 of a cup of chopped sun-dried tomatoes (plain or in oil) - 1/3 cup grated locatelli cheese - 1 jar of good seasons balsamic italian dressing
Mix well!
can be served hot or cold....tastes delicious either way!
