Patio furniture - Fortunoff's sale

what's the difference between regular aluminum versus cast aluminum? Fortunoff is having this crazy sale right now where some of their sets come with free chairs, chat table, seat pads, etc., no tax and $199 off the umbrella. It's too good to pass up but I live far from Fortunoff so I can't go check it out. Anyone buy from patio furniture from Fortunoff before? how is it held up and what is their return policy.

The one I'm looking at is the Biscayne. It's $1899 for a 60" round, 4 chairs, plus you get 2 free chairs, chat table, $199 off the umbrella (which is $199, so essentially free) and no tax!!

No tax sale ends on the 25th so I'd like to jump on it if it is a good deal!!

We purchased a cast aluminum set from them about 3 years ago and it still looks brand new. They really do have good sales. I got it at their clearance center and got a great buy.

Sorry this isn't what you asked, but I just wanted to say, are you sure you want to buy without sitting on the chairs? I'm currently shopping for patio furniture and cannot believe how uncomfortable some of the chairs are to sit in. For a $1899 set you have lots of options, and thats a lot of money if you won't be comfy.

That being said I've heard very positive reviews about the quality at Fortunoff!

the comfort of the chairs is a big factor. that's why I'm hoping they have a good return policy!!

I was actually thinking of ordering the set now, to get the benefit of all the sales, delay delivery for a month and then go to the store to see it in person and then if it's uncomfortable or not as nice in person, cancelling the order.

We went today and bought an aluminum set. Its very light, easy to move around. I think the cast has a different look, fancier, and I think its heavier.

We got a set, free umbrella, and no tax!! Plus we had credit. Cant wait to use it.

I've bought from Fortunoff's in the past and I agree with a prior poster that I wouldn't buy without sitting on it. The price, while not outrageous, is not cheap either (it depends on the qualtity of the set). That said I think you will see this deal, or a comparable deal throughout the season. JMO.
