Patio (paver) & Deck (wood) before & afters & contractor rave [lots of pics]
My boyfriend moved a few months ago & redid a bunch of rooms with crown molding/sheet rock & changed the molding in some rooms and redid the whole back patio & deck. The contractor was AMAZING! He and his crew did it all, inside & outside! It was West Meadow Designs, Inc, the owner is Chris. My boyfriend is going to have them do his kitchen & master bathroom next, I can’t wait to see how that comes out!
This is actually not done yet, he’s redoing the pergola and putting in an outdoor kitchen, he’s just waiting on the stone to come in, but so many people have been asking about patios & this came out so good I figured I’d post even though it’s not totally done.
The stainless steel wire railing he did is my favorite part. He did all of it by hand. The wood is Ipe.
I don't have a great before, other than 'ugly'  I mostly have during construction.
He made all the concrete tops for the fire pit and walls and custom colored them (my boyfriend picked this reddish color)

After - he lowered the deck and is putting stone from deck to the bottom on the windows, the stone just hasn't come yet.
Before (well, in process, the pavers were in but the deck wasn't done yet)

LOVE the railings w stainless cable! Pergola not done at all yet, he's waiting for the stone to do the outdoor kitchen.
He made the bench with chaise ends (needs cushions)
He also made the second floor deck
I didn't take a great pic but he built new stairs with the same ipe wood on the side french doors too
He also did all the inside work....
replaced this french door & did all the new molding
Did the molding, floor, paint. He also added a beam on the ceiling, same wood as the floor.
After
He made a coffee bar in the master BR for those who like to have coffee in bed
After
Dining room, he refinished the floor, did the molding, paint, re-skimmed the ceiling & put up the chandelier
After
So he & his crew are freakin' amazing. I highly recommend them! His prices were completely reasonable, too.

I just see a lot of people ask for contractor recs & Chris does everything, he does small jobs like just crown or he will rebuild your whole house. he just did such a great job I wanted to share

It looks even more gorgeous in person.
You have to see it now that the furniture is actually ON the deck instead of in boxes in the foyer.
With the way you drive if you leave your house now you can make it to the 4th of July BBQ...
