Pavers/stamped concrete

We're looking to either put pavers or stamped concrete in our backyard and would like to get some estimates. Anyone have a company they recommend? We're in the Huntington area. Thanks!

Pavers/stamped concrete

I used a guy recommended through my landscaper- for a 12x10 rectangular patio, small walkway, and 10 ft in diameter circular patio, we paid around $2500 I think. It was definitely the cheapest quote we got, and they were all nicolock pavers. I don't think they do cambridge, and if they did, I would imagine the cost will be a little higher

if you want the guy's info, send me a fm and i'll give you his # :)

Doctor Pavers. Fernando is awesome.

Everyone on here recommends him, and I was hesitant, but he did our work last year and it's AMAZING.

ditto. we were considering stamped concrete for the cost-savings...but the maintenance is a bigger issue. fernando gave us a fair price and he did a great job

Re: Pavers/stamped concrete

Thanks everyone. I assume I need to ask specifically for Fernando when I call Dr Pavers?

Also, as far as maintenance with concrete can you tell me a little about that? We're just starting to investigate options and concrete was mentioned by a family member. We really know nothing about the differences.

He's the owner. He'll answer the phone and come to give you an estimate. He also did our neighbors because they were so impressed by the work at our house.

stamped concretes can crack as easily as regular concrete. so fixing/filling those cracks is a PITA.

My in-laws have stamped concrete. It looks beautiful and has held up nicely over the years (my FIL treats it every 2 years). Just note... it's slippery when it get wet. I would think twice doing it around a pool, etc.
