Paying a friend/relative for childcare
Anyone pay a close friend or relative for childcare, and if so, how much do you pay? DD will be 3 months when I go back to work and either a friend or a cousin will be watching her 2 days a week, from like 7:30am-5:00pm. How much should we pay per hour? We want to be fair and pay adequately!
Don't know if it matters to the amount, but the friend has a baby who's 6 months and the cousin has a school-age son and a 2-year-old.
Thanks!

My friend takes her little boy to a woman who watches a few kids in her house and she pays her $50 per day. HTH

Re: Paying a friend/relative for childcare
I pay my lady $7.00/hour
If it was a relative, I don't think I would pay as much.
