PCOS girls- high LH/FSH ratio

Just got my blood test results back, I have a very high LH/FSH ratio (8.6/1.8). Ob gyn says it is a definite indicator of PCOS and dysfunction of the ovaries. Anyone is dealing with this particular issue? Is high ratio enough to make a PCOS diagnosis? thanks

Coming from someone who has PCOS, do not be discouraged!!

Think of it this way... now you know that you have it and can take all the necessary steps towards that BFP! Before we started TTC, I was SO discouraged and really thought that maybe pregnancy would never happen for me. There are soooooo many ladies on these boards (and IRL) who have gotten pregnant naturally with PCOS. Unfortunately, I was not one of those people, but with the help from a great RE, anything is possible! There are so many different ways to maintain your levels and at least you know what you have to do. I would recommend going straight to an RE (if you haven't already) who can really help you through your TTC journey. I hope you get your BFP soon!! Feel free to FM with any questions!!
