PCP referral (Lindenhurst, West Bab, Babylon, West Islip, Bay Shore area)
Does anyone have a referral for PCP in this area? I have a PCP but he's a solo practice and I always have to wait days for an appointment

Slightly further, but we live in Amity Harbor and use Dr. Levitt in Massapequa Park. He is right near Smokin' Al's. Never had any issues with waiting for appointments.
ETA: He has a partner who is a nurse practitioner who is also nice and lots of great staff (RNs and such).

I use Dr. Sal Giantinoto in West Islip. He is on Higbie Lane across from the High School. He has 2 Physician Assitants.
He is young and easy to talk to. He also does all blood work in the office.

2 of my co-workers went to a place on Wellwood - by outback. Premier/primary... I don't have the info. Walk in type place but in/out so quickly, can be used as a PCP.
FM if you want me to find out more info.

Leonard Savino......I actually cried when I moved down to NC and wouldn't see him anymore. He is THE most caring doctor I have ever met in my life. He's on Sunrise Hwy, West Babylon.

I was just going to recommend this office as well! I see Dr. Sica there and he's awesome.
My mom had blood work done a few years ago that was "slightly off" and another doc of hers said it was nothing & to come back in a year. Dr. S. saw it and told her based on that & some other factors he suspected early stage leukemia. He was right! Thanks to him she caught it early & has been treating it/keeping it in remission ever since. He also diagnosed me with my stomach issues & sent me to see a gastro. The gastro couldn't believe that Dr. S. had the right diagnosis as it wasn't something PCPs usually catch/realize - he was super impressed!
