Peanut free classroom
Hello,
I just got a call that my DD will be in a peanut free classroom and I was wondering if anyone had a list of scceptable snacks that do not contain peanuts or are made in a factory with peanuts.

I usually send them to school with:
Nutri-grain cereal bar
Fresh fruit (banana, apple slices, grapes, strawberries, cuties oranges)
Fruit cups (mandarin, peaches, pineapple)
Carrot sticks w/greek yogurt dip
Cheese slices/stick w/turkey pepperoni
turkey or ham w/cheese rolled up in a small taco-sized tortilla

Peanut free classroom
We just received a letter too about a child
in my DD class. How does the parent of the allergic child
trust that all parents will adhere ?

The teacher and lunch monitors will separate them probably. They may have a peanut free table where they inspect the snacks or something along those lines.

My son goes to a Peanut Free School, this is some stuff I have packed for snack:
*Gold Fish
*Cut up Colby Jack Cheese
*Banana
*YoKids Yogurt (tube)
*Applesauce
*Organic Fruit Chews from Trader Joes (fruit rollup type)
*Pudding - vanilla/chocolate
*Oranges Cut up
*sliced apples
