peapod deliveries
i know some ladies on here use it. can you pay cash when they deliver your groceries? or is credit card only. tia.

You have to pay for the groceries when you place the order. You can use a CC or direct debit from your checking account.
BTW...I got my first order last night from them and I was VERY happy with the service!! We will be using it again!!

I stopped using them b/c I received produce and meat that was no good. the produce was bruised and riped and the meats some of the packages the plastic was ripped , I received meat due that day and expired meat as well and I will never forget the stench from sausages I received too oneday! They refunded my account everytime, but it became a hassle. I love going to the supermarket and picking my own.

same thing happened to me, so that is why i started doing my own food shopping again, picking out my produce and meats are a big deal to me, plus i use a fruit store and the butcher.

I gave either 10 or 20 depending on the amount of bags of groceries.

We love peapod, and we're never had a problem with the produce. In fact, they usually pick out such good produce (and FH hates trying to pick it in the store), he wants to order from them JUST for his produce!
I guess it depends on where you live and what the local stop n shop is
