PEAPOD question for those who have used it
What happens if they dont have something you say "buy"? Do they replace it? Call you?

AND...how if you pay upfront do they take the coupons off your order?
I dont see anything on here ( online) to say you have coupons to use?

when you place the order or make an account it will ask if you want items replaced with something equivilant, if you click yes they will always send you replacements. They didnt charge my card for about 4-5 days after it got delivered so when you give them your coupons they take it off then run your card with the coupons taken off...
i had a bad experience with them... but it was christmas eve....

bad how?
DH now tells me he is not happy with me using it..ye he cant really managae getting more then milk and Im not able to get tot he store

I have been using peapod for years, and when ever they dont have an item you want they eather replace it with another brand or write on your receipt that they are out of stock on that item.

I used them for the 1st time last week, and was sooooooooooooo thrilled!!!
At the end of your order.. it'll ask you to check off one of 2 boxes (one says something like: Please replace an item that is not there, with something similar. Or Please dont replace any items that are not in stock.
Im too picky soooooo- I check the dont replace button...
After you put your order through... they tell you your total is lets so 150... But they only authorize a dollar to be taken from your act. AFTER you recieve your order you are charged the rest (so if items werent there.... you are not charged them- My bill was 133, a certain item wasnt in... so I signed off, I 130 when the delivery got here, and thats what they took from the act.)
As far as coupons... there is in fact a place to put in your coupons online... and the delivery guy collects whatever you have when he drops it off!!
