pediatric cardiologist?
does anyone have a recommendation for a great pediatric cardiologist? I'd prefer one associated with LIJ.

We are using Dr. Russell Schiff in Mineola. He is associated with WInthrop though.

We see Pediatric Cardiology of Long Island. They are the BEST. Reitman and Levchuck are the 2 main docs and come highly recommended.

Is Reitman still around?
I was just asking my daughter's ped yesterday and she wasnt sure.
We've seen Reitman, Levchuck, and Vallone...
ETA:
My daughter was seen by Dr Schiff as well. (He was on call when she was born. ) I was very happy with him...

crashing-i saw dr. levchuck when i was 18, and he was AMAZING..i had to have surgery to cauterize (sp?) an extra part of my heart, and he was great from start to finish

Reitman was my cardiologist...I love that man. He's wonderful 
Levechuck is another doctor in that practice who is also equally as wonderful. I brought my DS to him when he was a few months old. At the time Reitman was not seeing patients often as he was getting ready to retire.

This is who we are doing a followup with in 2 weeks. Dr. Vallone was the one that saw DS in the hospital & will see us again
