Pediatric Orthopedist in Babylon/Islip area?
Hi, I'm looking for a pediatric orthopedist in the Babylon/Islip area. My 5yo DS fractured his collarbone, and our pediatrician recommended two orthopedists, but they are not pediatric orthopedists.
Do you think it is necessary to see someone who specializes in pediatrics, and if so, any recommendations? If not, does anyone have any feedback on Dr. Cappellino or Dr. Tabershaw?

I don't know any Pediatric Orthopedists but I know 2 people who have used Dr. Tabershaw - one for back/neck surgery and one for knee surgery and both were extrememly happy and recovered very well.
