Pediatrician in Long Beach/Island Park/Oceanside
Hi Ladies
I need to find a Pediatrician. I am not due till beginning of March but my OB expects me to deliver in Feb.
Can anyone recommend a Pediatrican? I live in Island Park. This is my first child and I am clueless as to what to do.
Any advice would be warmly welcomed!

On advice I have edited  I am closest to South Nassau Hospital - if anyone can help I'd appreciate it - TIA

I go to Pediatrics Health Care of LI they have an office in Bellmore and in Woodmere and I Love them and DS loves them also they always call back when you call...

Cathie you can ask your OB if he has anyone he can recommend.

Her OB is in Great Neck, so isn't familiar with Peds. in her area.
She needs someone affiliated with South Nassau, and conveniento to Long Beach/Oceanside/Island Park area.
Any help ladies? Personally I don't know anyone over there...

I live in IP too Cathie and I LOVE East Rockaway Pediatrics!!!!!
They are affiliated with SN which, by the way was FAbulous....
I actually went to visit the ped office the day before Gavin was born, thankfully I made it, he was 2 1/2 weeks early!!!
I love all the docs there, they are really awesome.

My DD see Dr. Theresa Lanzone- she is located on National Blvd. Dr. Terri is affiliated with South Nassau, Winthrop, Mercy & LIJ.
You can call her and ask for an interview if you want to meet her first. She is a fantastic DR and has always been there for my DD even when she was hospitalized at LIJ for RSV she came to the hospital.
