Pediatrician question

I called my Ins. company for a list of Ped. in my area and I have the list, my OBGYN recommend 2 of them that were on there, same practice. Should I still interview or just go with that? I am so tired of 100 app'ts, I think I should just go with it and if I don't like the practice first few visits, then take it from there. What do you think?

also, the one I was going to interview with (not one that he recommended) wasn't affiliated with my hospital, so maybe I shouldn't bother and just go with OBGYN's reccomendations?

Re: Pediatrician question

I didn't interview anyone. I just went with the ped in town. I figured I would figure it out when I actually bring him there if I like her or not. Plus I wanted to see her interact with my son and go from thereChat Icon

Re: Pediatrician question

I went with who the nurses/doctors at my OB/GYN's office use for their own kids and it ended up being the same practice. I just went with that and I LOVE Caiden's doctor! Chat Icon

Re: Pediatrician question

I interviewed my first ped. this week. I'm glad I did. She was ok. Some things I loved about her, other things I didn't prefer. OB recommended her. So I'm meeting with two more next week. I'm only meeting with practices that have one or two doctors, rather than a large practice.

Unfortunately, I don't know many moms in my town to ask about peds. And the few I have asked, go to large practices (4 or more docs).

Luckily, I'm not working now- I agree, the appointments get overwhelming!!
