Pediatrician Rec in Bellmore or surrounding area
Hi Moms! I'm hoping you can help with a recommendation for a pediatrician. I would prefer a few doctors in the practice and possibly affiliated with South Nassau. TIA!!

We love Dr. Jonathan Jassey on Newbridge Road. There are a few docs in the practice, but he is our favorite so far. He came highly recommended and all his patients really love him.

We use Dr Jeffrey Silverstein in Merrick. We love him. Came very highly recommended from numerous close friends. One with 5 kids - the oldest being 15, another with 3 kids oldest 13 and some other friends who haven't used him quite that long. We always get in when DS is sick, never ever wait long, very laid back and easy going. I can't say enough about him and his staff.

Dr. Lewis Jassey (brother of Jonathan) both are wonderful - actually the entire staff is wonderful! I really LOVE the office - even all the women @ the front desk - seriously one is nicer than the other, and helpful.

I think Seaford Pediatrics is great! They wouldn't be far for you either. They are affiliated with Winthrop and there are 4 in the practice. I have friends in Bellmore who use Oppenheimer's group and they are happy too.

Thanks for checking that! Is Silverstein the only doctor in the practice?

Jen - I didn't know you use them - or maybe I did and I'm forgetting! haha!
Anyway, I feel old because I went to high school with Jon Jassey and he was a year younger than me! I used to see his brother, Lewis Jassey, and LOVED him. My younger brothers saw him for years. He is a wonderful doctor and a really caring person. I would highly recommend their practice!

yes he is. he works monday-friday and sunday. he closes early friday and closed saturday for shabbot. but he has a backup doctor in bellmore just in case. he even told me if i need him at night he'll either come back to the office or i can go to his house!

I just called the office and they have a Baby Class 1x/month where you get a tour of the office and get to ask any questions. Thank you so much ladies for the recommendations! I think I'll check out Pediatric Healthcare to have something to compare it to.

we use Dr. Jonathan Jassey for my autistic son AJ and Dr. Mari Emmet with my DD,
both are in the same practice. we love them.
