We use Commack Pediatric Partners. I'm in Smithtown and it's a 10 minute or less drive, depending on the time of day.

Pediatrician reccomendation in Smithtown, St james, setauket or stony brook area
We used to go to Smithtown Pediatrics and their office staff is horrible. Downright rude and awful. I stayed there for 9 years too long. I cannot recommend them AT ALL. Also one of their doctors is horrible with developmental delays. Perhaps he is up to speed these days, but he certainly wasn't when my child was a toddler.

really? wow. I have no experience with developmental delays, but in the 6 years we have used them I have never once encountered a rude staff member. I dont care for all the drs, but that is really just a personal preference.
I loved my dr there and have 3 friends who use them and we are all happy.
ETA: one thing I love here, is I have never waited more than 10/15 minutes before seeing a dr and this includes the time I just walked in no appt bc ds took a big fall in a store.

Cant say enough good things about dr goldberg in lake grove. I can however say some bad things about others in the area you mentioned. fM if interested

We also go here and I have NEVER had an issue. I now have 3 kids and they have been phenomenal with all 3 kids.
I have a son who has selective mutism and also a heart condition our peds have been amazing!
We started with one ped but he left the practice and we now see the ped our ped sent his kids to.
