Pee with toppings? UPDATED!
OK so I need to collect my urine sample at home and BYOP to the doctor's office.
Interesting story- this morning, I notice significant floaters in my pee cup. I have notinced texture in the cup before, and in the toilet- sort of little white specs. But this morning we had a chunk and some specs. Ummm is my bladder broken?
WTH is this?
My first thought was teh good ol MP- but what would that be doing in my urine stream?
Update: Totally normal, though not discharge- it's mineral deposits in the urine. Doc isn't worried though, so neither am I.

Wow- yummy.
Maybe it IS parts of your MP that just never quite left the vag area.... I don't know. That's really a first I've heard. Then again, nobody is as graphic as you- You need to write a book when you're all delivered!

I have noticed white floaters in my pee before too. I assumed it was just like lube or something from the ob, but I really have no clue what it is.

This makes me feel better. Safety in numbers.
My #1 concern is that I occasionally get serious pain in what feels like my kidneys, but I've never relly had kidney issues, so I'm not sure if it's really just my back hurting, you know?
So I'm concerned that it may be calcium?

I would say maybe MP, or maybe just secretions that may have come out the same time as your pee?
I notice some gooey white stuff sometimes too.
why BYOP? why not just do it there?

I know- eww. They like morning pee.
I usually put it in a ziploc bag with a paper towel, because it leaks. Poor nurses.

I envy that, I miss the days of only seeing the doctor for a minute, telling him I feel fine, hearing everything looks great see you next time...Now I see him once a week he asks me 200 questions and then does an unlubed internal...dh wants to bring a camera to capture my facial expressions

See- I have noticed this before too- but my doctor doesn't seem to look for things unless I ask about them, so I will ask today. Especially since one of the floaters was real big.

Totally normal ladies. It's most likely normal vaginal discharge. Pregnant women tend to produce more of it, hence the floaties.
FYI if you want to produce floaty free urine try using a wet wipe and wipe yourself from front to back real good first. Can't guarantee anything though!
