I don't have the Venezia but I post on StrollerSwap (awesome message board BTW for strollers and other things) and the Moms on there all loooooooove their Venezia's. If you are looking for a used one they usually pop up on CL for great prices. The older versions called the Milano XL have a huge seat too.
Haven't heard much about the Baby Dreamer sorry.

I had a Venezia and LOVED it until my kids were about 2, then it became a heavy PITA and I switched to a Maclaren.
It's an awesome stroller for a baby.

I have the Venezia and really love it. It is definitely bigger and heavier than my Mclaren, but it's worth it! We used it often when DS was a newborn for walks around the neighborhood. We even schlepped it to Disney in September when DS was six months. For quick runs around town I use the Mclaren now (DS is 11 months) but for longer trips and walks I still use the Venezia. Just yesterday we used it at Costco and had him facing me... that was the feature that sold me on the Venezia.

so it isn't good for a run arounds? I want something like the snap n go, easy to take to restaurants, shopping etc. I want to use it when he becomes a toddler as well. He is 5 months now.
I love the facing me feature as well.

I got a Venezia with my first back in 2004 and used it ALL the time. I even used it for my second child and it still looks brand new! It holds up well, I love the features (the boot, the reversible handle, etc) and the basket on the bottom is nice and big!

Didn't they discontinue the Venezia and replace it with the UNO?
I too am looking into a parent facing stroller and just did a thread on the Peg Perego PLIKO switch vs the Peg Perego Uno.
