Penne ala Vodka w/shrimp
I usually make the Rachel Ray recipe for Penne ala Vodka but want to add shrimp this time.
Should I sautee them separately in a little garlic and oil and add them in or can I cook them in the sauce?

I would cook them right in the sauce since shrimp cook fast and if you over cook them, they will be rubbery. I would not cook them 1st to avoid over cooking.

I would make the sauce first and then after the sauce is done I would take a ladel full and saute the shrimp in a separate pan. At the end, I would throw everything together and serve.
