People Mag Cover - Kim Kardashian: 'It Was Like We Were in Heaven'
It was the most lavish celebrity wedding of the year, but Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are happy to report that all their expectations were met – and more!
"It was like we were in heaven," Kardashian tells this week's PEOPLE in a cover story with an exclusive wedding photo album.
Adds Humphries: "I'm going to remember how perfect it was."
According to wedding planner Sharon Sacks, the couple mixed tradition with over-the-top glamour at their Aug. 20 ceremony at a private Montecito, Calif., estate.
"Kim loves black and white and so does Kris," says Sacks. "They have this Hollywood royalty feeling and the black and white represented formality. But tradition was very important to them."
Wearing a custom-designed Vera Wang ball gown, Kardashian, 30, says she "felt like a princess."
But, she adds, "Glam aside, that wasn’t our main goal. It was really about our family and each other.”
E! News will air a two-part special, Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, on Oct. 9 and 10, only on E!

Wasn't this wedding like 3 days ago? How did they give interviews and have a photo shoot already? And didn't they already leave for their honeymoon???

Oh definitely! I think her hair and makeup look great! And while I'm not a fan of that beaded head band with that veil...she actually does pull it off and it looks beautiful!

still think mine was better
as for being interviewed for the wedding. i wont give here any crap for it. i was on liw the very next day saying i had the time of my life and posted a few pics

Just like they had E! at the wedding, I also believe representatives were their from people as they sold the first pictures to them as well as the cover story. So they probably set aside some time to do this at the wedding.

They supposedly said they weren't going on a honeymoon, and then surprise, they went off to Europe.
