People serisously are so freaking out dated, long vent
A young girl is on the S subway line going to the Times Square station at around 2:30 this afternoon. She had her stroller in front of the door and she was seated in the seat next to it. I don't think she realized that the door she was at was going to open first. As the train neared the stop, everyone crowded around her stroller to the point that she could barely stand near it. All she had was a hand on the handle bar. They were pushing to get past her without letting her go. I said loudly "people have no consideration, let the poor girl go out!"
This old man (I'm guessing he was about 55-60) starts grumbling in my ear that "she is wrong, SHE has no consideration, she shouldn't have the stroller on the subway, she should be charger for three people since the stroller takes up so much room" I looked right at him and said you're out of your mind, she has a child with a load of other stuff and you want her to carry all that, have some consideration for her and her child" his response "well when my parents had kids, they weren't allowed strollers on the subway" so again I said "have some consideration" I wish had thought quick enough and said hey dumbazz, you're almost dead and those were different times!!!!!

I was so mad for this girl. She didn't realize what was happening because he didn't have the ballz to say it out loud for multiple people to hear him. Only I heard him and I wasn't going to let him think that he was right. Not for a second. Dumb fluck.

He wasn't being very considerate but then neither was she having the troller blocking the door. And for that matter, your comment posted here about how someone at 55 is "almost dead" was pretty offensive too. Youth doesn't make you a better person.

Well, if anyone actually read the post and saw that I said I thought about saying AND ACTUALLY DIDN'T, then they would realize that I DIDN'T SAY IT. I was VENTING. That is what MY vent is. I could have said a number of things to this man but was actually quite polite to him just repeating over and over "have some consideration".
I don't have kids, yet all I could think of was that this person was thinking this poor girl could handle her child and all the things she had with her without her stroller. I was laughing that this person was comparing this girl to his parents. Like I also said, you could see that his girl didn't realize that she was blocking the stroller. I'm pretty sure she didn't want her child to surrounded by strangers when it was obvious that she was trying to keep out of peoples way and they wouldn't let her. Like the title of the thread says some people are seriously outdated.
It was not my intent to insult anyones age. I just wish that I had been able to make this man realize that his thoughts and beliefs were seriously outdated.

Actually, I think it's quite the opposite. I think 20-30 years ago, someone would have more consideration for a lady.
I'm not denying the guy was a d*ck, but I would be annoyed if someone blocked the entrance with a stroller. I doubt I would outwardly vent...

Outdated? I don't know what that's supposed to mean in this instance ...
And my opinion is she (or ANYONE WHO BLOCKS THE SUBWAY DOORS INSTEAD OF MOVING TO THE MIDDLE OF THE TRAIN) had no consideration for others.
