People who have pets - dogs, cats...
How many of you let you dog or cat sleep in your bed??
I do - I have a cocker spaniel and he has his own bed next to our bed, but usually halfway through the night he smacks me to bring him up on the bed.
I can't resist! He is just too cute!

We were letting 2 of them sleep in our bed, but now that i am PG I have a strict no dogs in the bedroom rule. It was very uncomfortable to have 2 dogs + DH in the bed.

my cat has his own bed...plus numerous other placs in the house that he sleeps but as soon as I go to bed...he jumps up and lays right at my feet all night!!

We don't.
I think DH used to let her sleep in bed with him before I moved in.
She's 90lbs - it's like having a third person in bed with you so no way!  Plus, if my son doesn't sleep in our bed with us, how can I let a dog sleep in bed with us?
She does, however, sleep in our room.

We have no pets now, but when we were younger I had a dog and a cat, and they were NEVER allowed on furniture. If DH and I were to get a dog I would NOT want them on furniture. I hate that. Everytime I go to my friend house their cat is on the kitchen counters and it makes me sick. I just think its gross, fur around food and such. To each his own.

He sleeps in his own bed, he's tiny, I'm afraid we'd squish him if he slept with us. He has in the past but he likes to sleep on my legs and that's why I think I may squish him.

I have a puppy she sleeps everynight with us in the bed, from the day we got her. I dunno if thats a bad idea or not.

Gizzy slept with me/us until we got our king sized bed... it is too high for him to go up and down by himself and I actually like it better with him on the floor, next to us in his own bed.

right now I just have 2 cats. They usually sleep in my bed when nobody else is in it. Sometimes one will snuggle up next to me.

For the past 2 nights she's been sleeping on the floor next to our bed in her own bed. This is after 3 years of sleeping with us  She's 75lbs with a torn ACL so the Dr. doesn't want her jumping. I miss her though..........

we have 2 cats and they sleep with us every night. You get used to sleeping in one position for most of the night!
Although we want to get a dog eventually and we know that you should crate them at night, but it will be hard to resist! Sort of seems unfair to let the cats sleep with us but not the dog. (we'd be getting a small jack russell so he wouldn't take up too much room)

We don't "let" them share our bed....our cat Gunnar takes a spot and won't leave! Usually right by my feet so I can't stretch my legs out all the way.
Our other cat Scout prefers to sleep alone, but she'll snuggle with me as I fall asleep sometimes...

Yes, two cats. We have a king size bed so all four of us can sleep in it together, which doesnt happen all the time beacuse my youngest is a little rascal and she torments the older one, and chases her off the bed.

Bailey sleeps on the floor next to us. We actually try to bring him in the bed in the morning for a snuggle but he doesnt like it.

Spencer likes to snuggle before we got to sleep and in the morning, but he usually sleeps on the floor in his bed during the night (I'm too much of a mover for him)!
