Pepperoni bread
Can I have your recipe?
I had it at a friends house a few weeks ago and I know she said she used Pillsbury pizza dough, pepperoni and cheese.

Re: Pepperoni bread
I make a mess.
I use pizza dough bought from the pizzeria.
I roll it out, brush lightly with a little olive oil - add pepperoni and a little grated mozzarella and provolone. Roll it up and seal the edge - when it's starting to brown I pull it out, brush on some melted butter and sprinkle a little garlic on there before popping it back in to brown. When It's done I sprinkle some fresh grated Reggiano over it and that's all she wrote.

Re: Pepperoni bread
The bread my mother (and now me too ) makes is not just pepperoni we also use genoa salami, soppersata, thinly sliced ham (or prosuitto), cabagole (sp?), provolone.
We buy the dough , put some EVOO layer meat and cheese, roll it into a hero bread shape and spinkle semolina seeds on top. YUM!

YES! That's it! You are a genius! I mean it seems like the same thing but we always called the one with all the different meats "stromboli" and the one with just pepperoni "Pepperoni Bread". I think we're just weird!

Re: Pepperoni bread
I use pizza dough (either make it myself, or buy it already made). Roll it out to a large circle. Layer pepperoni so it covers the dough (leave a little bit on the edge for rolling). Cover with shredded mozerella. Roll it up into a long roll and curve slightly so it fits on the baking sheet. Seal the dough together and place on baking sheet with the seal on the bottom. Cut slits on the top of the bread (I usually do about 1 inch apart so it's easier to cut when it's done). Brush with melted butter, or spray with olive oil. Place in 350 degree oven and bake until browned....30-45 minutes.
Super easy and delicious.
