personal ttc question - ttc months?
Let me start by saying that this is our first month TTC and i am already over-analyzing every twitch in my body.
How did you all feel in the first month TTC compaired to where you are now? Does it get easier/harder? or both?
This is our first month TTC and we are not charting/temping. Nothing. Just trying to have fun BDing, and not getting to stressed. However, I feel like i am becoming obsessed with the thought (and the hope) of getting that BFP. I am trying not to drive DH crazy. I want it to be fun for him. It is the ONLY thing i think about.
So for those of you who have been here longer then me... as months pass - do you find that you go back to your daily routine and stop thinking about the BFP 24/7, or, does it intensify that much more?
Thanks for all of your comments and to all!!!!

Re: personal ttc question - ttc months?
I think I was doing the laid back TTC thing for like, um, a week, haha. I'm a few months into it and I've found that learning more about TTCing overall has helped me not go crazy with wonder. I at least know now when I'm ovulating so I know the window of when I'm able to get pregnant as opposed to any possible day of the month! And I learned about how your Luteal Phase is related to the day of ovulation so I know when AF is due and therefor don't get my hopes up when I think she's late, but actually isn't! So still excited and hopeful, YES, but thinking about it every second of every day, no, that calmed down a bit HTH!

Re: personal ttc question - ttc months?
Tough question.
In the first month, I was much more naive I think. I thought we'd definitely get pregnant that month... if not then for SURE within 3 months, and 100% we'd be pregnant within 6 months. Well, none of that happened.
TTC never really consumed my thoughts or interfered with my everyday life at all... so I can't really answer the "daily routine" part.
For me, I've learned more ways to cope... I've made a ton of great friends who help me through the hard times, and I've learned what works for me and what doesn't work for me. I've also learned much more about my body which helps me know about my cycles and what is normal for me to experience during the 2WW.
Even after 17 months, I've never given up the hope that each month could be THE month. That's the one thing that has remained the same.

Re: personal ttc question - ttc months?
We just started last month. I for some reason did not think that last month was our month. But I still think that this month might be. But I see all the struggles of all the ladies on here and wonder how long it will take us. I am trying to not stress over it at this time. Check back in 6 months.

I think you are starting off great! Try not to stress over it, keep it light.
First month, I started off with nothing. Just BDing.
Fast Forward 1 year and change, I started using OPKs last month. I don't stress over it. I don't cry over BFN.
I really believe it will happen (some days more than others). I try not to pay attention to what CD I am on, just so I dont obsess over it.
If I find myself stressing over it or thinking about it too much, I distract myself. Go for a walk, take an exercise class. Watch a movie.
Good Luck!

Re: personal ttc question - ttc months?
It has been 7 months of trying for me, and I can honestly say that it is only now that I am able to ttc and get on with my life. In the beginning I over-analyzed everything because I was so sure that it was going to happen 1,2,3. Now, I'm more of a "it will happen someday" kind of person.
Good Luck to you!

I was kind of the same way, the first month was see what happens and I got pregnant right away then miscarried, not it ihas been 7 months and the first 3 months I was beyond obsessed b/c I thought it was going to happen right away. Now I think I am a bit more relaxed...
