Personalized Baby Gift
Our niece was born yesterday and the name was kept secret until she arrived. I want to get a personalized gift (SIL and BIL are getting wine and food  ). I want something classic looking (some things I'm seeing has a ton of colors), nothing that needs to be dusted, and no stuffed animals. Any ideas?

I had a baby girl a few weeks ago. Here are some of the personalized gifts that I received. I will be honest they aren't all necessarily my taste (I am not super girly) but they were thoughtful and that I appreciate more than anything so I will find a place for it all.
- Personalized Wall Hanging from Personal Creations - includes all of her birth stats
- Personalized Grow th Chart
- Elephant Stuffed animal with her stats in the ears (I know you said no stuffed animals - I feel the same way but this one is small and cute)
- Pottery Barn Kids tote/beach bag and matching beach towel
- Personalized Bath Towels
- Personalized wooden block (something that will need to be dusted)
- First Tooth/Curl box (I think this was personalized but I can't remember)
- Personalized "Month Blanket" -- the kind where you put something around how many months/weeks they are and take their picture lying on it.
If they haven't finished the nursery yet (or even if they did) you get personalized sheets/changing table pad covers. I just ordered them from Carousel Design.
I always give an embroidered Pottery Barn Stroller Blanket as a gift which seams to be a big hit among my friends.
I also have given my nieces jewelry boxes when they got older but if I received one now I would still love it.

I loved the personalized wooden bench my kids got. It has their name in pull out puzzle pieces. You use it as a step stool in the bathroom. It was used for such a long time. We keep it in the playroom now to get stuff off of the top shelf.

I forgot about the stroller blanket...my sister in law gave me one for my last two girls and I love it! They use them all the time!

Does anyone have a link for the Pottery Barn stroller blanket? I did a quick search and not sure where to find it.
Another fun one is the personalized blanket from Highway 3 (the blankets featured on the tv show TLC’s Outdaughtered.

My aunt had gotten me a silver two part frame that has our little guys birth stats (height weight etc) engraved in it and the other side has a 4x6 or maybe a 3x5 picture of him when he was first born

Personalized Baby Gift
i had a baby 6 weeks ago - we have enough personalized blankets to use a new one for two weeks straight. i love them, but some will definitely sit in a drawer unforunately. i would have loved the month blanket - im surprised we didnt get one, i think thats the new thing
