I would avoid this chat room. I had a very negative experience with it during the painful loss of my dog. I won't get into too much of it, but for starters, after they said I was logging on a few times, that it is only right to donate money to their site, etc. I just found them wanting to suck off people in pain. I found the whole website off and spoke to others that experienced the same thing.

REALLY??? OH thats terrible! I've never logged into the chat room so I have no experience with them. Thank you for you sharing your experience. I'm so sorry it was negative. How terrible to try to take advantage of people's grief

I was so devastated over my loss and was looking for any kind of help. It sounded good and then they asked me to contribute money. I could go on and on. I met someone else that visited on there with a negative experience too. I ran into a lot of cruel people during this dark time claiming they would offer help, only to make me feel worse after dealing with them.

I'm so sorry. I feel terrible that I posted the chat room! I know how horrible it feels to lose a beloved pet. On one hand I guess at least it exposes their awful practice, but I'm sorry to remind you of it.

When I lost my childhood pet I found solace in getting involved with volunteer work for his breed rescue group as well as looking at photos of his breed. Not to mention petting all the dogs I could get my hands on (heehee). But, it took a very long time for me to be able to not cry when I thought of him. I still get choked up sometimes now and it's been 10 years.

You were only trying to help by posting. They are not nice people, that I know. It is a few years since my loss. While the pain isn't as bad as it was then, I still miss her terribly. I found a lot of help on another petloss chatboard and met wonderful people on there. There isn't much resources available though to people grieving through a loss like this. I learned that with all I went through.
