Pet sitting question?
We have great neighbor's that watch one of our dogs when we are away & we do the same for them. They watched Toby over thanksgiving & apparently he snapped at one of the kids. He is usually really good with them so I think he got a fright or was overwhelmed with them anyway that's no excuse. They are going to watch him for us for a week in Jan. We only found out yesterday that he snapped at a kid & she says she just wanted to let me know which I believe but now we feel wired leaving him there. We feel its to much & we are over doing it. Should we but him in the kennel? Sorry so long.
ETA there where like 7 kids in the house when it happened.

Re: Pet sitting question?
I have two ideas - spend some time with the kids and him at the same time and monitor them to see if there is more to be concerned about. Without witnessing exactly what happened, you don't know if they stepped on him, pulled his tail/ears, hurt him in some way, tried to take a toy or bone away from him... there could be a lot of answers. However, it's important that he be corrected and that that correction comes from you and your neighbor so he knows it's not acceptable.
The other suggestion is to ask her if there are going to be a lot of kids over, if she could have him be in another room somewhere with some toys to occupy him while they're around. To be safe. I would absolutely discuss it with her so she knew how concerned you were about it.
