Yeah, exotic animals should be left in their natural habitat otherwise it's criminal to take them away from what they know.

i shouldn't talk csince i had a prairie dog. BUT I do believe those cat/tigers should be allowed along with others...
ETA...but looking back i do not think prairiedogs should be pets too...just like the chinchillas, groundhogs, pirhanas etc..
i have even saw BATS in pet stores

Squirrels
Any animal that hasn't or can't be domesticated.
I don't understand why people would want snakes. My brother's friend used to be a vet tech and was bitten by one that was being kept as a pet. He almost died.

Bats  I would not even be able to step foot in the pet store that sold bats... they are my deepest darkest fear

Yes - definitely exotic cats (like bobcats too) and other animals that can't really be domesticated.
Also - I believe that a particular breed of dog - pitbulls, to be exact, should not be kept as pets.

my dad had a pet monkey growing up also - he fell in the pool and drowned  .
He also had an alligator, which I consider a strange pet.....not sure what happened to that one
