Phil & Ted's / jogger owners - come in..

I did a search and saw a few P&T owners on here. I kept seeing thats its not great for "serious runners" - what does that mean?

I don't run, but Al does. He'd want to take the stroller onto trails, but he's not a crazy fast runner and wouldn't classify himself as "serious".

We want to get a jogging/off road stroller, and I love the flexibility to make it a double (down the road), though E will (ideally) be 2-2.5 before the next baby arrives. Is that too old for a stroller?

Thanks for your insights!

I have seen it in person and I would say its a little flimsy for really jogging or on trails- Great for two kids though. I wish I had bought that one instead since I plan on having two soon.

But we have the Baby Jogger brand and I LOVE IT. You can jog with it, take it on trails, on the beach, and it rides so smooth. I highly recommend it if he really likes trails.

I have one - its great for off road terrain - nothing stops it, but it does say it isnt recomended for running or skating, which baffled us because thats why we bought it, but I have jogged and powerwalked with it, and it worked well for me...

It also provides no shade - the whole back area is open which exposes the top of his head to sun, so he always has to wear a sunhat, or I'll put a blanket there which slows me down if it starts flapping away... also the fron theres no shade either, so the sun hat has to be over his eyes...Chat Icon
