Phlegmy Cough?

Signs of bronchitis or something like that? I know when I get bronchitis it's more of a dry cough at first...DD had a slight plehmgy cough today, napped horribly and just seems a bit congested in her chest...I'm nervous bc of everything going around now? Take her to the PED tomorrow, or see what happens?

DS has had the same thing for almost 2 weeks now. have you taken her temperature? the ped said as long as he doesnt have a temp, is sleeping and eating you have to wait it out. use a humidifier and keep her comfortable. she may want to be held a lot.

She didn't feel warm to me, so I didn't...she isn't sleeping nap time well at all..but it started today, I'll have to see how tonight goes...Humidifier is on...Ugh, I really hope she's not getting sick!

Thanks for the reply!

Re: Phlegmy Cough?

Ds started out with stuffy nose, then the congestion then the dry cough. by last friday he had bronchitis and the loose cough. Never had a fever.
DH brought him to the PED b/c his breathing was labored and when they checked his oxygen level it was low. Low enough that they wanted to send him to the ER but the nebulizer treatment brought it back to normal right away. he's been getting the nebulizer all week and almost weaned off it.

take him to the the PED. the PEd said bronchitis changes hour to hour. i would get it checked.
