Picking names
How have you been coming up with names? Books? Websites? Your head?

Re: Picking names
A little of all of that.
We got a book which was just too overwhelming for me. We have a girls name, but aren't set on a boy's name.

Yes i agree. The book was too overwhelming for me. I think mainly i've looked online at the top names for different years and then just names that we like in general.

Re: Picking names
My husband has names that he looks. I already know that we are looking for an Irish name and we know the sex of the baby. Since we know these factors - it's easier to get an idea of what I like. I look mostly on websites.

Re: Picking names
DH needed a book, he needed something he could look through, and ultimately our name came from the book.

I wish DH would look through a baby name book!
I am searching and writing down all names I like, then we'll pick from there. This ain't gonna be easy.
And is it weird I already have like 20 girl names and only 5 boys' names?

Re: Picking names
We've looked through 3 different baby name books and close to a dozen websites. We've got nothing. Poor is still nameless. This is HARD!!!

Re: Picking names
We decided on family names so we didn't need books or anything. It was pretty easy for us.
