Pickle Festival in Greenlawn?

Did anyone else go?
My love for pickles was endless there. I wish it was every weekend.

Re: Pickle Festival in Greenlawn?

We went last year and thought it was the biggest waste of money. There was such a long line for pickles, and we paid like $10 each to get in. There wasn't anything else there.

Same here!! We went last year and thought the same thing. Admission, plus expensive pickles that were mediocre, at best. And nothing else. There was a teeny corn maze and a hay ride. We went with my friends and their 3 yr old daughter. She was bored too.
I'm glad someone enjoyed it.

I went today...maybe they changed the price - it was $2 for adults and free for kids. pickles were $1 each (and pretty big)

It was OK, but I remember it being much better when it was run by the library. The John Gardner farm is just a bit too small - or they just didn't set it up well.

There was apparently also a garlic festival out in Riverhead this past weekend. Has anyone gone to that one?
