Pics from our FAMILY trip to Spain....
Madrid, Laredo with my client, Toledo, Bilbao (Guggenheim Museum)....Granada, and Seville.
Ale was great. I brought one book and one toy on the plane. She slept the whole way there practically. When we got to Madrid we checked into the hotel and all 3 of us slept, and got over our jetlag by the afternoon.
In the hotels we of course shared a room so DH and I would buy a bottle of wine and share it in the bathroom after she went to sleep. She had no problems adjusting to the schedule or sleeping in a different bed almost every night -- thank God.
Trip was a mix of business and pleasure. I got to see old friends and my ex-MIL, who adored Ale....it was bittersweet of course. And she got TONS of gifts!! It was so sweet.
Coming home she was awake for most of the flight so we would walk up and down the aisles - people were surprised there was a baby on the flight since nobody heard a peep out of her. She charmed everyone as she sauntered up and down the aisles.
And the best part -- she seemed to understand everything and everyone. All my work seems to be paying off. Yesterday she actually said "Agua"!

Glad you had a great trip! The towns you went sound exactly like our honeymoon there more than 6 years ago... Madrid, Seville, Granada and Marbella Can't wait to get back there one day!
