Pics from our RCCL cruise!
I highly highly highly recommend a Royal Caribbean cruise if you're thinking of cruising. We went on Navigator of the Seas for 5 nights to Jamaica and Grand Cayman (left from ft. lauderdale) and had the best time!
The ship was gorgeous, our balcony room was beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, the food was amazing and there were SO many activities (which we loved the most).
It seemed like they promoted healthy eating and activities. On top of having a rock climbing wall, mini golf course and ice skating rink, there were so many other activities to choose from every day. I feel like we were always up on the sports deck... we played soccer, did the ping pong tournament (DH got the silver medal  ), volleyball tournament, dodgeball, basketball, etc.
The shows were also great, but since we were mostly in the casino at night we only saw 2 shows.
I believe they said there were 3,200 people on board the ship, but you really never felt like there were that many. The spread everything out so nicely and we never waited on ANY food lines and always got lounge chairs together no matter what time it was.
It was great and we are already planning our next one!

Jess, looks like so much fun!
What were the stops?
Was it expensive??
You guys can probably go on so many cruises now that you live in FL!
We actually just booked a trip to Hawaii for the summer since it's so much closer to CA, but figure if/when we move to FL we'll be cruising and vacationing all over the Caribbean!

Yea, it's so easy to cruise right from FL so I think we'll be doing it often!
We stopped in Jamaica and Grand Cayman. It wasn't that expensive, but we got a balcony room so it was a little more than booking an inside or regular ocean view room.

so glad you guys had a great time.
we have never been on a cruise and we wanted to wait until we had the money to get a balcony room and go someplace real nice out of NYC - either canda and northeast OR bermuda!!! then, we'll def hit up the caribbean another time too... but we def want to do RCCL! so pretty!!!
question - we are going, for our anniversary, to jamaica in december (staying at sandals b/c money is tight and we needed all inclusive with cheap airfare)... i saw you went kayaking to dunns river falls - we were "iffy" about doing the hike there -- what was involved with the kayaking and is that offered ON the island or offered only through the cruise??

We booked the excursion through the ship, but i'm sure it is offered on the island maybe through your resort. We actually took a small boat to a resort (not sure which one) and got on the kayaks there.
Kayaking to the falls was actually longer than I thought it would be... good thing DH and I were in a kayak together, I needed a lot of breaks. It was about an hour from the beach we were at to Dunns River Falls. But, we stopped a few times to wait up for others.
We were also iffy about climbing the falls but i'm glad we did it. In the beginning it was kinda annoying b/c we had to hold other people's hands and climb up "together" and some of them were so slow. But about halfway up we broke off on our own and got to climb up separately and go our own pace. It was really steep at the end and very slippery. A good experience though.
Have fun in Jamaica!

Great Pics. RCCL is all we do.
I noticed that on my last cruise they were promoting healthy eating habbits and activites. And I had some of the healthy foods and they were really good. It was like they really gear the cruise to everyone
