yes you need to purchase a seperate harness though for when he starts to move around...they have a harness at BBB....

cute pram. wantedto tell you my cousin got one for her shower and hardly ever uses it with the baby. she said its really not that practical and ended up getting another stroller. she found it hard to use on the side walks and very bumpy for the baby. not sure which model she got.

it doesn not come with a 5 point harness ...its just a basinet with no harness for a newborn...so u can buy a harness so u can use it as the baby starts to siut up...

we got a reg stroller also, the Chicco,the pram is def not practical especially for 1,000 bucks but it bounces the baby really nicely as it has shocks...
I def. agree that it is a luxary item and you need a reg stroller in addition to it..I love it though....

I still have my harness and metal engraved plate with my name from when I was a baby in my coach carriage! it was basically the only carriage you could get and defintely did not carry that price tag  
its so funny to think they are not "practical" now, when I was in one we lived in a walk up apt and so did most of my relatives

Does the seat fold up so the baby sits upright as it gets older? I'm thinking back to years ago and the ones back then were just a flat bassinet.

It is beautiful...
But can I ask what you mean by "bounces the baby really nicely"? When DS was a newborn, I wanted the OPPOSITE of bouncing when we used our stroller....
