Picture overload of my DSD's "Paris Glam" room, updated with pics of the new crystals
She's turning 16 in January and her room was a really bright blue she picked about 5 years ago, everything was tired looking so I decided to re-do it for her.
She wants "to live in Europe" when she's grown up and Paris is high on her list, she's also a little funky & glam so that's where I got the "theme"
The room still needs a few details-I ordered crystal hardware for her vanity to replace the brass, I ordered dangling crystals for the chandelier, Nicole & her friend painted wooden letters that make her monogram to go over her bed-they need to be hung up, we are still considering tufting the headboard and DH is building her a custom floating nightstand for her lamp. I still may change the bedding at some point if I find something more "glam".
DH changed her window and wants to remove the a/c unit and put the same window there. She's also getting new closet doors.

The eiffel tower is a decal i ordered on ETSY
DH & I made the vinyl headboard
Her vanity that was actually my vanity at my dad's house when I was a kid
We reupohlstered her vanity stool to match the headboard and the base was gold I painted it silver.
I took the pictures with different lighting & flash, I think the last pic is the most true to color. Also in the last pic you can barely see the "silver wall" around her closet, DH painted it a metallic silver, but I didn't take any pics because the closet doors need to be replaced.
This was a pretty low budget project. We donated the rest of her furniture to someone on craigslist, the bedding was really inexpensive, the headboard cost less than $100 in materials, the chair, storage cube & rugs were all dorm stuff that I got on sale, the chandelier was a yard sale item-$10  , The decal was $55 and two days for the painter.
I'm really happy with the way it came out!
ETA-pics of the crystals I ordered for the chandelier! We are really happy with the way it came out & was not hard to do!

Love the color and the decal and the chandelier! I wish I could see the floating table better - is it a hot pink color?

I know! But its true, when I was young I always wanted to live in Europe!! Encourage her to do a semester abroad...thats how I wound up here...16 years on!

Sorry I didn't see you question right away, right now there is a hot pink storage cube right next to the bed as her nightstand, but DH is going to build a floating shelf that will be finished white like her vanity. I'm trying to get him to do it today I'll post pics when it done

New pics of the finished chandelier, I ordered replacement crystals & new pins for $37 bringing the total cost of the chandelier to $47
