Pictures of the baby's room (AKA...OUR room).
So, I decided to take some pics of our room. I still hate the fact that we decided to stay in our one bedroom and share a room with her, but I hated the thought of paying extra rent for a bedroom just to house a newborn's furniture. It's still a little cluttered. We're getting rid of the big TV on the tv stand and will move the high dresser to the corner with a smaller tv on it, so then there'll be more room. Plus, the walls are still bare, and I took the curtains down yesterday because we are getting new ones, so all in all, a little bare and a little cluttered, still, but it's just about done.

It's actually really big. We are thinking of getting a room divider to put next to her crib. It should be fine for one more year. Next year we're buying a house, so it'll do for now.

Again, SO MUCH ALIKE...our baby will be sharing our room with us too and we will have a set up that is very much just like yours. Awesome job!!!!

When Alia was born, we shared the room with her too.
now that we moved, the living room is divided with her part of the room.

I read what you wrote before I looked at the pictures and I expected a small cluttered room, but it looks like it all fits great! And some room to spare. Love the furniture.

Rachel I think it looks great and you and JT made a smart decison to stay in the 1 bedroom. For 6 months we never really even used my daughter's room. She slept with us and I just changed her wherever. Plus its so much easier to get to them int he middle of the night when they're close by.

I think you made the right decision to stay in your apt for the moment, newborns rarely spend anytime in their own rooms anyway.
your bedroom came out great! it doesnt look cluttered at all...thats great that your room was a decent size and you could set it up so nicely!

I think it looks really nice and it's good because you do have a nice sized bedroom. We had Emily in our room with us for the first 3 months until we moved out and got a bigger place. I actually loved having her so close during those months and still miss it sometimes now.
BTW we have the exact same changing table for Emily. I love the color of it! Good choice!

Its great. We had a one bedroom until I was preggo with my second - Sam was 3. We devided the living room into a nursery if you need any tips. DH made the devider himself.

I think it looks great- the newborn is in your room all the time anyhow- better to save for that new house
