My god how heartbreaking. The though of losing your child (and those poor kids losing their mother so young) is too much to even think about.

This is so sad. I don't know much about ovarian cancer. You obviously have a higher risk of getting it if it is in your family, correct? Is there anything they can do to help prevent it if you know you have a strong family history like they can with breast cancer? You know, how some women get their breasts removed if there is a strong family history, can you get you get a hysterectomy if there is a history of ovarian cancer in your family?
Yes you can have your ovaries removed when you're done having kids if you know it runs in the family, they can test for the gene too. I think I read somewhere that people who carry the Brca gene have a 90% chance of getting breast cancer and a 50% chance of getting ovarian cancer? Idk if this is accurate, but I could have sworn I read an article on it.
What a sad situation, I feel so bad for the family

How devastating! Ovarian cancer is one of the most awful and merciless forms of cancer out there. It's very hard to diagnose and when it is found, it's usually too late. It strikes fiercely and kills quickly!
To hear of someone so young and beautiful with the world at their fingertips and unlimited means to succumb to this horrible decease is really shaking me to the core.
I swear, they will never find the cure for this horrible disease! Or maybe someone already found it, who knows, and is being shut down by the medical industries because G-d know show much money will be lost by medical community if someone can just cure cure cancer instead of having poor patients go through millions of extremely expensive treatments... This whole thing is just too awful for words!
