Pinata Question....

so I just got a Pablo Pinata, and noticed it is one of thos that has the strings, and kids just pull them, and one releases the candy.
My DH HATES it, can I use a bat to hit it still?
Will it break that way??

I'm sure it will if you hit it hard enough...Chat Icon

Re: Pinata Question....

You can still use the bat it is the same as a regualr one, it just has the trap door.

I would make sure to tape the trap door shut though since when they are hitting it, it might open.

Funny thing about that is, I went adn bought a kit to make a pinata with the strings, since I didn't want my 2 year olds to be swinging bats, LOL!

Re: Pinata Question....

For the last few years, we went with the string method. Since I am usually the one holding the pinata, I didn't want little kids swinging a bat that close to me! Chat Icon When we got the kits, the pinata had the option of using the strings, or not. You can still swing at them and break them if you want.

Re: Pinata Question....

Diane I had a pinata at Matthew's party and it was one with the strings. We taped the door shut so it wouldn't break while the kids were swinging at it. What we did was had all the kids line up and they each got 3 swings. So we went through the whole line and noone broke it so we then had all the kids gather together and grab hold of all the strings and at the count of 3 they all pulled it and all the candy fell. They wiped the floor good...LOL Not a piece was lingering around the floor anywhere...LOL LOL
