pink eye / blocked tear duct ?
I have pain in the inner corner of my eye ,and my eye looks like someone punched it,it is so swollen  my doc isn't in today and I don't know what to do ! Any info would be great ! Thank you !!

put a hot compress on it and go but similasan pink eye drops from the drug store. walgreens and cvs usually carries it.
heres a link so you know what the box looks like. eye drops
feel better!
-- oo and dont reuse the compress. use a new one each time!!!

Probably an eye infection. Is it just the corner that's swollen? You may want to go see a doctor. Also if it's swollen, a warm compress won't bring the swelling down.

Is the actual eyeball pink? That would be pink eye. If it is just the eyelid, you can try and lift it to have someone look inside. There may be an actual white head if it is a blocked tear duct. As hot as you can stand compresses should do the trick. I used to get these allll the time when I was younger. Danielle is right, make sure you don't reuse the same cloth!!! I'm the type of person to wait it out and see how it goes, but tomorrow is Sunday and you will never get a MD on a Sunday.

I just called my friend over and she found the white head on the bottom and top of my eyelids these little suckers hurt !! Thank you !!
Thank you everyone !! Gotta love that tomorrow is mothers day and I get to take pics with my kids ,and I look like I was just in a fight

I would use the warm compresses too. You know some optometrists ( ones that got there licenses to write precriptions) can see you and write prescriptions if medication is needed. HTH

if it is pink eye, you will wake up with dry, crusty eyes.... if it's bad enough, it will be difficult to open your eye. the whites of your eye(s) will be very red. pink eye is highly contagious so keep washing your hands and don't touch the other eye-- it will spread. pink eye needs Rx eye drops to go away.
