Places for strawberry picking with other fun activities?
Thinking of going Sunday or Monday.
I'd like to go somewhere that has something else for the kids- kind of like the apple and pumpkin places. Not sure if that exists.

I *think* it's actually a little early for the strawberry picking, but I could be wrong. I thought June was actually the best of the strawberry picking. However, there are a bunch of places out east that do strawberry picking. Lewin's Farm is my favorite farm and I am pretty sure they have the strawberry patches this time of year. 
ETA - The first or second weekend in June Benner's Farm in Setauket is having a strawberry festival in case you're interested.

Thx! Maybe I'll wait a few weeks. I never went before and happened to read something about it. I wonder if the weird weather this spring had an effect on the strawbs.

I second Lewins for all types of fruit picking. I think you might be at the start of the strawberry season this week.
The Mattituck strawberry festival is Friday, 6/15 to Sunday, 6/17. I go every year and we love it!

It's basically what I would call a funfair (carnival). Rides for kids of all ages, games, really good vendors. The only strawberries are chocolate covered or in a strawberry shortcake, which is delish
