Places to buy a Fireplace mantel shelf?
Pref. Nassau or Eastern Suffolk.
The standard 60 inch is too big. I would prefer to order from a stock in stock if I can vs. ordering online.

are you looking for stone or wood?
I bought my stone mantle from Picone stone and fireplace in Holtsville. I think they also carry wood. I've seen wood mantles in Home depot and Lowes too.

The Fireplace store on post ave in westbury. Its just North of old country road on post ave.
I think there is also a place in seaford on Merrick road.

I would look around lowes. I think we're going to put 2 hard wood stair tops together and maybe some molding or decorative trim. The stairs are 25 a piece and looked fancy enough to use. Hth!
