places to go/see/eat in NYC with toddler
I am trying to plan a day in NYC--any help appreciated! :)
We are going to a show-so looking for places to eat and something else to do! :)

You can make your own muppet at fao schwarz
Ferris wheel at toys r us in Times Square (total zoo though)
Chelsea piers
Central Park playgrounds and during the spring and summer they have they carnival with rides, etc. Central Park zoo has a petting zoo.
Childrens museum of manhattan

American museum of natural history

If you are going to be in the theatre district, try Ellen's Stardust Diner. It's loud, and the food is basic diner food, but it is so much fun and very, very kid friendly. The diner is near Rockefeller Center, I am not sure of anything in the immediate theatre district that is kid friendly, we haven't done broadway with our kids yet. Have fun!!

Times Square is kids central. Anything around there is kid friendly

Central park & museum of natural history. Personally, I stay out of times square... It's very crazy, crowded & touristy. I eat anywhere on upper west side, which tends to be kiddie friendly. FAO is no different than a toys r us to my kids. (2 & 3.5), maybe older kids would like it more. I did live there for 8 years, so I may be a but jaded...
