I don't know about the cream cheese - but that's solid - I don't think you'll have an issue.

Yes, it's quieter in front - reason I sit in the middle to front of a plane. The middle gives more leg room!

Re: Plane questions...

Cream Cheese is not allowed because it is considered a paste.

I know that this has come up on another travel board I am on and people were told to throw it out. I think it really depends on the airlines, but I believe it is considered a paste and not allowed at all even if it fits the 3oz rule.

I know if does vary from airline to airline, airport to airport. The FAA just lays down guidelines for everyone to follow but each airlines carrier and each airport can add their own rules that also are enforced.

I'm not sure of the answer, but last time my parents came to visit me (in June) my mom brought Cream Cheese and Bagels from my favorite place on LI.

Re: Plane questions...

No promises, but if you put the CC on the bagels at home, you might be able to bring it on the plane. They'd be less likely to notice it and make you throw it away. If it's in a container they're more likely to make you toss it. But like I said, no guarantees.

Re: Plane questions...

Not sure about the cream cheese... but I always try to sit in the front or middle of the plane.

Last year we flew and got the last row and about an hour into the flight I started getting airsick when I would look down or up. It was awful. I also noticed it was noisier and more shaky back there.
