Do you belong to a parish? I called our church to see what days/dates they performed the baptisms and let them know we wanted our son Christened. They will probably ask you to attend a meeting with other parents of children to be Christened. We did.
Then I called around to restaurants and caterers to see if they also had that day available and booked it.
Next we asked the Godparents.
Bought blank invites from Staples and printed them on the computer, added a graphic and bow to the top.
I decided on favors and made/bought them.
We have a family Christening gown so we didn't need that.
If I think of anything else I'll add it.
