Playgroup - would you be interested?
So I was just talking to one of my friends and she was telling me that three years ago she took her daughter to Gymboree for Mommy and Me. She meet 5 other moms there and they decided to do playgroup in each others homes. Every week someone else hosts, so every sixth weeks it's her turn. They have been doing this once a week for 3 years and I think that is great!!! The kids play and the moms have lunch and chat. Would anyone be interested in this during the week? If we got a few girls together we could all meet somewhere else first to get to know each other alittle before opening up our homes...that is if we haven't met before! So if you aren't too far from the South Farmingdale/Levittown, Seaford/Bethpage/Massapequa etc area let me know!!!

I'd be interested but all these get togethers are usually in LI and never in Queens so I will have to pass on this unfortunately.

I'm sorry. There are alot of us on LI. Why don't you try seeing if there are any other girls near you in Queens, maybe you guys can set something up near you.

I dont think it would matter but I guess it depends if you want to drive and who wants to drive when it is at your house. RVC isnt really that far.

I don't think that is bad at all. I grew up in Lynbrook and I drive there all the time, takes me 15 minutes.

I see the location for some of you, Let's get a list going with ages and locations:
lo13lo13 - DS 9 months, South Farmingdale
Cloddy - DD 7 months, Rockville Centre
Tfor3 - DS 1 year, Wantagh
Avamamma - DD 2 1/2, West Islip
