Oh my god!!! My son loves Kota and I bought him 'Spike" instead! I might have to get him this..but hopefully it's on sale at the store too! Shipping is 80 bucks!
ETA: just called TRU and it's 199.00 in the store since they don't honor online prices. Blah!

Amazon also has it for $99 w/ free shipping. I'm 2nd guessing my spike purchase, too...  I know my DS would love Kota, but he *asked* for Spike.
ETA: Target marked them down to 99 today, too.

My sister saw them up in Westchester. She called me to see if I wanted it for DS. I assume it's all Targets. 
ETA: Looks like it sold out @ Amazon.

I didn't see them on Amazaon for 99.00 with free shipping. If I did, boy I would of ordered it ASAP!!!!

I bet those who bought it already for 299.00 are pizzed. Hopefully they can get credited the difference. I think 99.00 is a great price for Kota, If I can get it for 99.00, poor Spike is going back

Just an FYI if you have the TRU Rewards Card and register it online, you get a free shipping code. Not sure if you can use it for Kota or not. Worth a shot

FYI - I went to Toys r us yesterday and bought one for $99. It is supposed to be on clearance in all of the stores. My sil went to the on in Bklyn and it wasn't marked down but she spoke to the manager and he told her it was on sale they just didn't get around to posting the sale price.
Also, Amazon has it on sale for $100 and free shipping.

ETA: GOT ONE!!!! Soo excited for DS! Poor Spike went back! If he goes on sale, he may be back in our house, LOL! Spike was 139.99 and I think Kota is so much better..

I got the last one at the Lake Grove TRU. I called this morning...stayed on hold for an hour!! The guy said he had 2 left and asked how fast I could get there. I told him in 45 minutes. He said to hurry because he had 5 other people coming down too. I ran in the store and saw they had one box left. I prayed the entire drive
ETA: I never saw it for 100.00 on Amazon. The guy did say at TRU that they will be getting more. You may want to call and see when they receive shipments

I think it's great if anyone can get it for $100 but why shoud other people have paid so much? I can understand a small price difference but $200? I hate the retail holiday games.

I hope they are doing it. Otherwise they sure has heck better expect returns. But with time constraints and esp since most people buying this have small kids, it's not always easy to hop in the car with a huge item and return it and buy it again. Boo! Hiss!
