Please be careful about giving pets away on Craigslist
I don't know if this is true (and neither does Snopes), but I just read about people getting pets off of Craigslist and then using them for target practice.  http://www.snopes.com/critters/crusader/target.asp

Honestly, even if this isn't true, giving a pet away on craig's list isn't a good idea in general. Sometimes you'll get lucky and find a loving family on there, but I think that's the exception, not the rule.

Yeah-you're definitely right. I probably should've titled this "Another reason not to give pets away on Craigslist." Too many creeps out there.
